Historical Committee is a group of church members, providing evidence of the history of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Hampton, Virginia. The group collects bulletins of church services, resolutions, programs, pictures, obituaries, histories of each organization and documents provided by fellow church members.There is data on file from 1957 to present in chronological order. The committee is in the process of writing a book about Bethel.

We are the Men of the church. All male members of our church are Sons of Allen and as such are welcome to take part in all that we do. We provide moral support and keep a watchful eye on the senior men of the church. We provide christian fellowship to all men and all men are welcomed to attend our breakfast at 8:00am on the first Sunday of each month. We provide an enviroment where men can come together and openly discuss issues of concern. We also oversee the Human resources Skills Database and Computer Learning Services.
